So one of my bestie best girlies Veronica is walking in this show on Friday. She's amazing and beautiful for sure! I know she will kill it, cause she rocks the shit outta every show she's in! Bitch is fierce. There will be good music, dope clothes, and hot chicks, win win win. The best thing about this show in my opinion is the girls will be body painted be the amazing artist Voice 1! Even though the ink is temporary, art is art in my opinion and will without a doubt be dooope! So everybody go here on Friday, it'll be good times, after all i'll be there :) Oh and anything that Certified is a part of promises to be fresh to death. word. ps. It's also Ebony's birthday this night and she doesn't go out or drink or anything, so this will be a rare event, like spotting big foot or loch ness or some shit like that. That's another good reason to come.

So I have been waiting a while for these to come around, and the time is super close! First: Zombieland!! Fuck yes, I cant wait for this one. I love zombie movies! Hopefully its comparable to Shaun of the Dead, cause that shit was hilarious! Zombieland comes out on October 2nd. woot! 2nd: Where The Wild Things Are. This was one of my fav books ever when I was small. I can never get tired of it ever! Now my son loves it too so that makes me happy, it also means I will have a buddy to watch the movie with! This one comes out October 16th. Last but mosdef not least: Alice in Wonderland. This movie will forever remind me of Jenna. Getting lost in a room full of doors. ha. This one i'll have to wait a bit longer for it doesn't come out till March 2010, but Tim Burton NEVER disappoints and i'm sure it'll be worth the wait!

It's a sad day

Today is a sad day for me. As anyone who knows me well knows that I am a HUGE Rampage Jackson fan. Always have been. Yesterday he announced on his blog that he is quitting the UFC and MMA all together. Apparently he is going to pursue a career in acting. He went on to say that Dana White was not supportive and pushed him into several fights that he didn't want to take. Rampage is not the first fighter who has put Dana on blast for some shit like this. I personally think Dana is a huge pussy, but the dude has a sick sense for making money, so you gotta respect that. So in his blog he talked about how he got this role in a movie that was super important to him and Dana mocked him on the Internet. Which is shitty I think. Let the dude do whatever he wants he put in work for the UFC. He said he's ultimately doing what he has to do to support his family and put his kids through college. So I guess the last time we'll see him in the ring is on this seasons ultimate fighter, which doesn't really count. eh. Whatever i'm still a fan, dude is hilarious to me. I'll watch his movies or whatever the fuck he does. I'll def miss him in the ring though, he will always be my all time fav! So, with the help of Kween Vee, I discovered another little gem that North Denver has to offer. Makeup Mania, which is pretty much right on the corner of 44th and Lowell across the street from that little cafe. This place is fucking amazing! A makeup artist's dream for sure, really any girl's dream for that matter! This divine little pink and white building contains everything from brushes and shadows to super hardcore movie makeup. I could mosdef spend hours and hundys here! They have 12 palettes for only $35 and pigments for days! I cant stress enough how quickly bitches need to get here and check this place! The ladies in the shop are super fresh and know a lot about their product, unlike the counter ladies in the department stores. These ladies are makeup artists it's not just a part time job for them! Makeup Mania only has 2 stores one in NYC and one here! They also have a website www.makeupmania.com just to give you an idea of the shit they carry, I suggest going into the store though so you can actually feel the product for yourself. It's super legit I promise! So go in and tell them The General sent you. You will not be sorry... pinky swear!
